Fluid coolers / closed cooling towers

A special cooling tower where an internal waterflow is cooled by evaporation. Due to the evaporation process, a third liquid is cooled which is in a closed circuit. This can be used for cooling tower water, glycol, oil or other process fluids. Because the liquid is in a closed circuit, contamination is excluded.

Marley MHF

The popular Marley MHF liquid cooler has been extended with additional models. The Marley MH Element™ Fluid Cooler with the addition of copper coils offers the highest efficiency per footprint.

The MH Fluid Cooler remains one of the most efficient systems and the best choice for industrial and HVAC closed-loop applications. By keeping the process fluid in a clean, closed loop and combining the function of a cooling tower and heat exchanger in one system, the MH Fluid Cooler offers superior operational and maintenance benefits.

Hybrid design

Using a combination of fills and coils, the MH Fluid Cooler offers significantly improved performance compared to conventional closed-circuit coolers.

- The process fluid is pumped internally through the coil.

- Heat is transferred from the process fluid to the recirculating water as it flows over the outside of the coils.

- The heated recirculating water is pumped from the collection basin to the gravity distribution basin.

- A small part of the recirculating water is evaporated evenly over the fills and the coil, efficiently dissipating the heat to the atmosphere.

The right choice

The Marley MH Fluid Cooler is one of the most energy-efficient closed-circuit systems on the market and a sensible choice for industrial and HVAC closed-circuit applications.

New to the market! Copper coil models: Certain models - the MH Element - are now available with copper coils, which offer superior corrosion resistance, better heat transfer, lower operating weight and many other benefits.

Maximum efficiency: The hybrid design and high efficiency components deliver consistent, reliable cooling with low input power.

Space-saving footprint: With a higher capacity per footprint than conventional closed-circuit designs, the MH Fluid Cooler is ideally suited for space-restricted applications.

Unparalleled reliability: Heavy-duty construction, backed by our 5-year mechanical warranty, helps keep your process running smoothly year after year.

Certified performance: The thermal capabilities of the standard models have been independently certified by the Cooling Technology Institute for performance with water, ethylene glycol solutions and propylene glycol solutions.

Low noise operation: The MH Fluid Cooler is equipped with low noise fans as standard and is suitable for many noise-sensitive situations. Multiple fans and damping options are also available to meet more stringent noise requirements.

Optionally, the MH Fluid Cooler is also available with a dry capability: Models are available with an optional extended coil for partial load dry operation in cold ambient conditions.
